Zen Tea Lounge Foundation Annual Fundraising Event

On Friday, 22nd September, our Joint Managing Director, Debbie Burgess, was invited to the second annual Zen Tea Lounge Foundation fundraising event. The Zen Tea Lounge was started by Amy Nguyen to provide assistance, support and education to women and their families suffering from domestic violence. The Foundation was launched in 2016 and the aim is to support domestic violence survivors to thrive beyond their trauma. Zen Tea Lounge run early-intervention workshops and seminars educating the youth at school. They also run workshops and seminars to help survivors ready themselves for an independent life. This includes programs to restore identity, self-confidence and financial independence.

The night raised valued funds for the Foundation and was supported by a number of MP’s and local Councillors including the honourable Dai Le MP for Fowler.
