Lean Manufacturing
Over the past 18 months all employees of the Bright Print Group have been engaged in an extensive training program. The program was undertaken to enable the achieving of all employees in a Certificate III in Lean Manufacturing. This is a nationally recognized qualification.
We believe that we are one of only a handful of organizations in Australia that can say it has all employees qualified to a Certificate III level. Everybody from our receptionist through to our delivery drivers have participated in and completed the requisite training modules.
Our employees are now knowledgeable of many Lean Principles, such as Kaizen, 5S, 5 Whys, 7 Wastes, Preventative Maintenance. These principles and others have been implemented into our systems and operations. The result: a streamlined, super efficient manufacturing facility with a highly committed and capable team.
Due to the success of Lean training at our Wetherill Park site, we have commenced rolling out Cert III training to all employees at NCP Newcastle.
